Both of the winners of the Minnesota Millionaire Raffle bought their ticket from Coborn's Marketplace in Delano, and the other was at the Kwik Trip in Dundas, reports CBS affiliate WCCO.

Lottery officials revealed Monday that the winner from Dundas ( located 33 miles outside of Minneapolis) had claimed their prize.

Residents of Delano, located 26 miles outside of Minneapolis, have since begun to speculate as to why the winner for the other ticket has not been announced.

"Talking to a lawyer, being smart, or already have plans for moving away," one resident told the outlet.

"My guess is they just don't know they won," a second resident said,

According to one lottery official, there are two types of winners.

"We have people who win prizes that want to get in right away and claim that money," Adam Prock, an official with the state lottery, said.

"We have others that want to get their ducks in a row before they come in."

The sponsors of the bill said the law was needed to protect the privacy of Powerball, Megamillions, and other lotto winners who may become targets for criminals.

As with most drawings, winners have up to one year to claim their winnings till it is dispersed back into the community.

Both Coborn's and Kwik Trip each earned a $5,000 prize for selling the winning ticker.

According to lotto officials, both stores sold 800,000 tickets for the drawing before ultimately selling out in 22 days.
