• Taking the Measurement: Simply press the button located beneath the display. Hold in place for a brief moment, just until the display illuminates.
• Memory Function: This thermometer has the ability to recall up to 10 past readings, providing a quick reference for tracking temperature changes.
• Battery Conservation: Thanks to its auto-shut-off feature after 60 seconds, you can have peace of mind knowing you're making the most of the 4,000-use battery lifespan.

Warnings and Cautions:

• For optimum accuracy, ensure the probe is clean prior to each use. Always use a fresh disposable cover (sold separately).
• Handle with care. Avoid dropping or exposing the thermometer to intense vibrations or impacts.
• Store ear covers safely. They can be a choking risk for children if ingested.

When to Seek Medical Assistance

• Infants under 3 months: A temperature of 38°C (100.4°F) or higher. At this age, even a slight fever can be a sign of a serious illness or infection.
• Infants 3-6 months: A temperature up to 39°C (102.2°F) might be normal, but if your baby seems unwell or has symptoms like lethargy, poor feeding, or irritability, seek medical advice. For temperatures of 39°C (102.2°F) or higher, contact your doctor immediately.
• Children 6 months to 2 years: If they have a fever of 39°C (102.2°F) or higher that lasts for more than a day, even if they don't have any other symptoms.
• Children 2 years and older: If they have a fever of 39.4°C (103°F) or higher, or if they have a fever lower than that but with symptoms like a rash, sore throat, severe headache, persistent vomiting, or other unusual symptoms.
• Adults: A fever of 40°C (104°F) or higher, or a fever accompanied by shortness of breath, chest pain, fainting, severe headache, neck stiffness, rash, or confusion.
• Persistent Fever: A fever that lasts more than three days in adults or children.
• Recurring Fever: If the fever goes away for 24 hours or more but then returns.
• Other Symptoms: Always consider other symptoms that accompany the fever. For example, symptoms like difficulty breathing, chest pain, stiff neck, severe vomiting, and rash are alarming regardless of the temperature reading.
