Rapid results with Timesco's precise in-ear thermometer

Simplifying health monitoring
Diagnostics are now simplified with the Digital Tympanic Ear Thermometer, the ideal tool for quick, easy, and precise body temperature measurements. Recognising body temperature as a fundamental indicator of overall health, this device taps into the ear canal — a strategic spot, because the eardrum shares its blood supply with the hypothalamus, our brain's temperature regulation hub, ensuring unparalleled accuracy.

Rapid 1-second measurement response
Shaped with the user in mind, its ergonomic and compact design is representative of modern medical technology. Beyond its aesthetics, it offers various beneficial features: a rapid 1-second measurement response, the capacity to retain up to 10 previous readings, and an auto shut-off mechanism that champions battery conservation. Impressively, it promises up to 4,000 uses between battery replacements, and for your convenience, it comes already supplied with 2 x AAA batteries.

Versatile tool in health monitoring
The digital display is visually appealing and highly practical, allowing for clear readings and a seamless tracking of temperature fluctuations. As health and hygiene remain paramount, the thermometer should be coupled with the recommended disposable probe cover (code BR201-RC) to ensure cleanliness and safety. With its suitability spanning from professional healthcare settings like GP practices and hospitals to the comforts of one's home, the thermometer is a versatile tool in health monitoring. And to top it off, every purchase comes with the assurance of a 1-year guarantee, underscoring our commitment to quality and your well-being.

When to Seek Medical Assistance
- Infants under 3 months: A temperature of 38°C (100.4°F) or higher. At this age, even a slight fever can be a sign of a serious illness or infection.
- Infants 3-6 months: A temperature up to 39°C (102.2°F) might be normal, but if your baby seems unwell or has symptoms like lethargy, poor feeding, or irritability, seek medical advice. For temperatures of 39°C (102.2°F) or higher, contact your doctor immediately.
- Children 6 months to 2 years: If they have a fever of 39°C (102.2°F) or higher that lasts for more than a day, even if they don't have any other symptoms.
- Children 2 years and older: If they have a fever of 39.4°C (103°F) or higher, or if they have a fever lower than that but with symptoms like a rash, sore throat, severe headache, persistent vomiting, or other unusual symptoms.
- Adults: A fever of 40°C (104°F) or higher, or a fever accompanied by shortness of breath, chest pain, fainting, severe headache, neck stiffness, rash, or confusion.
- Persistent Fever: A fever that lasts more than three days in adults or children.
- Recurring Fever: If the fever goes away for 24 hours or more but then returns.
